Backlog
So, apparently, I haven't had a proper blog entry since... October 17th.
LOL
Well, at the moment, Plurk has all my daily thoughts and mumblings. Pretty convenient, micro-blogging is. Not so much detail and easy reads. Though of course hard to get back to since I plurk more than enough in a day. Anyway, October 17th. Been quite a while.
Yeah.
The rest of October was... short. XDD Here are some stuff that happened:
On the 18th, a senator sued God.
On the 19th, my mom told me that I DO LOOK LIKE JESUS. Don't be so happy though, I'm not Him reborn. Or am I? 8D
On the 21st, my group in VC 50 submitted our final plate, which is a 6 minute animation done with Blender. We had to ask for an extension since we needed a render farm to render all the bits and pieces of the whole animation. Render farm ended up being, more or less, 8 computers in the FA Comp Lab. Then we just slapped 'em together with some music on Windows Movie Maker at Vica's house hours before submitting it. You can watch it here.
My mom celebrated her birthday on the 22nd. We had unexpected visitors. XD We had pizza and pasta. I forgot from where but they were awesome noms. :D
Also on the 22nd, this computer I'm using right now died, and I had a plurky conversation with myselves.
On the 23rd, this baby is alive again. Computer guy did a CMOS clean.
On the 24th, "OTANJOUBI KUDASAI" made no sense but made my day. XDDDD
On the 25th, I was hostaged by my nephew at their house to be his Wii-playmate. We played Wii Sports and Super Smash Brothers Brawl. Also, I got to use a computer with a Windows 98 OS. XD
On the 26th, I was released by my nephew. LOL
On the 27th, the new Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince trailer came out and I was stuck on Pottergeekery.
On the 30th, I finished my Avatar: The Last Airbender marathon. It was awesome. I'll marathon again soon.
And that's it for October. As for November:
On the 1st, my mom and I visited her father at the crypt of a church whose name I forgot. It was toasty in the crypt. A lot of candles were lit when we got there, and it took us some time to find my grandfather's tomb, but we found it. It was covered by potted flowers. Relatives have visited already. After lighting candles, we prayed the Rosary in the church then went home.
On the 8th, I was in AME: 8th Avenue with friends. Here be the album.
On the 15th, I was in FA for the Art Fair 2008. I was stationed at the MFA Exhibit with Marija, where the prints of ma'am Ambie's Printmaking classes are displayed. We sold 2 of Corpse's prints. Also, while no one was stationed at the books being sold by the college--which were also with the MFA Exhibit room--I took care of them, with the help of Anna.
Also on the 15th, I went to visit Vica. She wasn't feeling well and I missed her all week. I brought her cake.
On the 21st, me, Vica, Kat and Tere went to Kat's place to watch the Hanazakari no Kimitachi e SP. It. Was. WIN. Weirded me out with the Kagurazaka thing but it was WIN. Will watch it again with the whole Hana Kimi series soon. Maybe with the Avatar re-marathon. XD
On the 22nd, I went to Komikon on my lonesome. Met a couple of friends there, though. Didn't expect any of them. Well, maybe except the great Baachan. LOL. I had my Kiko Machine Komix Blg. 2, 3, and 4 autographed by Manix Abrera. Also, I bought a copy of Kiko Machine Komix Blg. 1 for Vica and had it autographed too.
On the 23rd, I was enlightened by my Soc Sci 3 reading with the history of the Graham cracker. According to that reading, the Graham cracker was invented to control young men's sexual appetites.
On the 27th, I was burned (not sure if that is the correct translation for napaso >_< ) on my left forearm by a flatiron. It was a first so I was sort of exuberant rather than in pain.
On the 29th, I fetched Vica from her house and we went to SM Marikina to join Big John, Aurora, Shin and Kat to watch Twilight. We had a LOL time in the theater. I will be writing my review on the movie in a while. Then later that night, we all went to Mang Jimmy's at UP-Balara to have noms with more friends. Revin, Chepot, Baachan, Maan, Mara, Neph and Pepper were there already. Bart and Louie followed.
Ayun. That would be all for this post. The more recent happenings will be on another blog post.
